Shipping policy
This policy applies to consumer orders placed through whatsthepoint.shop, operated by Straight to the Point Ltd, trading as What’s the Point (“WTP”).
Order preparation and dispatch
Our usual preparation and dispatch time is 1-2 working days, unless a different timeframe is shown for the product before purchase.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
Some products require grip modification or other preparation before dispatch. Preparation time is separate from the delivery service’s transit time. Choosing a faster shipping service does not shorten preparation time unless we expressly confirm otherwise.
Relevant preparation times and delivery estimates will be made available before you place your order.
Delivery options and charges
Available delivery destinations, services and charges are displayed at checkout before payment. Any restrictions or conditions attached to a delivery offer will be explained with that offer.
Delivery estimates are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed delivery date. This does not affect your rights where an agreed delivery deadline is missed.
If you need an order for a particular date, contact Whatsthepoint.shop@gmail.com before ordering so we can confirm whether we can meet your requirements.
Pre-orders and mixed orders
Pre-order products will be identified before purchase, together with their expected availability and delivery arrangements.
Where an order contains both available and pre-order items, we will explain before purchase whether they will be dispatched together or separately, including any applicable delivery charges.
If the expected timing changes, we will contact you and explain your options. A pre-order does not, by itself, remove your cancellation rights.
Dispatch updates and tracking
Where tracking is included with your selected delivery service, we will provide the tracking details when available.
Please check that the email address and delivery address supplied at checkout are correct. Contact us promptly if you notice an error. We will help where possible, although changes may not be possible after dispatch.
Delayed or missing deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, contact Whatsthepoint.shop@gmail.com with your order number.
We will investigate delivery problems with the carrier. You do not need to resolve our delivery obligations directly with the carrier, and a carrier investigation does not suspend your statutory rights.
We will deliver within the agreed time or period. If no different period has been agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made.
If we miss the applicable delivery deadline, you may require delivery within an appropriate additional period. If we still fail to deliver, you may cancel the affected order for a refund. You may be entitled to cancel immediately where we refuse to deliver or miss a delivery deadline that was essential when the contract was made.
Where you are legally entitled to cancel for non-delivery, we will refund the relevant payments without undue delay.
Responsibility for your parcel
When you use a delivery service offered by us, goods remain our responsibility until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you identify to receive them, other than the carrier.
If you independently arrange a carrier that we have not offered, responsibility normally passes when we hand the goods to that carrier.
A tracking status showing “delivered” does not automatically resolve a claim that your parcel was not received. Contact us so we can investigate.
Damaged parcels or incorrect items
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect.
Include your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs of the packaging and contents can help, but they are not a condition of your statutory rights.
We will provide the remedy required by law and arrange or reimburse reasonable return postage where appropriate. Please see our Refund Policy.
Unsuccessful delivery and returned parcels
If a parcel is returned because of an address error, an unsuccessful delivery or failure to collect, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.
Where an additional delivery charge is appropriate, we will explain it and obtain your agreement before resending. We will not charge you for correcting a delivery failure caused by us or our carrier.
Your cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.
International delivery
International delivery is available only to destinations offered at checkout.
Where import duties, local taxes or carrier clearance charges are not collected by us, additional charges may be payable by you. We will explain before purchase where these may apply.
Customs processing can affect delivery times. This does not remove our delivery obligations or your applicable statutory rights.
Returns and cancellations
For cancellation deadlines, return arrangements and refunds, please read our Refund Policy.
