What are standard dart points?
Standard dart points are traditional press-fit steel tip points fitted into the front of a dart barrel. Unlike threaded quick-change systems, standard points normally require a dart repointing tool for removal and installation.
What length dart point should I choose?
Point length is largely down to personal preference and the setup you're trying to achieve. Longer points can change the appearance, balance and grouping characteristics of a dart.
Remember that on many standard points, part of the stated overall length sits inside the barrel once fitted. Check the individual product description for exact measurement information.
What is the difference between board grip and finger grip?
Board grip is the grip applied towards the tip of the point and is designed to increase the point's hold in the dartboard.
Finger grip is positioned further back on the point and provides additional texture or a reference position for players who rest a finger on their dart point.
Some WTP designs combine both.
Will WTP Standard points fit my darts?
WTP Standard points are designed for conventional press-fit steel tip dart barrels, but point-hole dimensions can vary between manufacturers and models.
Some Red Dragon, Winmau, Shot and other barrels may require a thicker point. WTP offers a dedicated thicker-fit option for many of these darts.
